Luckily, we opted to do a testing a day before the first race. During our first session out, the oil light immediately comes on during the out lap, and Sam shuts the motor off and gets towed back into the garage. It took us the next 10 hours to solve the oil pressure issue. We removed the head from the block to be sure we didn't have anything blocking the oil passages since it was a new motor.
